  1. Lunch Box

Known as the cult film in Indian Cinema, Lunch Box is a film that revolves around food and how a chemistry develops between two people who haven’t seen each other over food/lunch box. There are some nice points covered regarding food and its making. It is for sure you will look for your own lunch box after watching this film.

The story is about a Punjabi family who runs their very own family restaurant, where they have a secret ingredient for their food, especially Chicken curry. And how one of the character, Omi Khurana tries hard to learn his Daarji’s secret and comes to know it by the end and story of learning it, makes the movies very interesting.

This movie made in 2005, set a trademark that Men are too good at cooking delicious food. Here R. Madhavan plays a Chef, who goes to London and tries to impress a girl with his cooking skills and later on went on to become famous in the city with his cooking skills. The movie introduces us to some amazing food one of them being Sugar-Free Halwa for diabetics and more.

The movie that can be said as a bit ahead of its time, has its main story revolving around Amitabh Bachchan, who is a Chef who starts liking a Girl younger to him. And how he cooks some delicious food to impress her. This movie also gives us insight into how a commercial food business or hotel works in India.

  1. Stanley Ka Dabba

This is that movie, which surely reminds us of our School days and how we used to share our tiffin with our friends and when eating was fun. Here we see a young Stanley who works during the day at a dhaba, but is unable to get Tiffin at School. But in the end, he manages to get a lunch box for his khadoos teacher who used to scold him for not getting his own tiffin box.
